Islamic Embroidery Kits

A wonderful little activity for your child during the month of Ramadan! 

Each Islamic Embroidery Kit comes with:

• An embroidery hoop
• A plastic needle 
• Matching embroidery floss 
• Instructions 
• A note related to the chosen image 

There are currently three designs:

1. The Holy Kaaba
2. Masjid (Mosque) & Crescent Moon
3. My Prayer Mat (2 Styles) 

This activity targets fine motor skills, as the embroidery/sewing motion is one that is precise, and requires focus.

Fine motor skills are those that involve a refined use of the small muscles which control the hand, fingers and thumb. With the development of these skills, a child is able to complete important tasks such as writing, feeding oneself, buttoning and zippering.

We would recommend parental guidance, as this activity may require some assistance.
